Paving Example Quotes

Sand Stone (Indian Stone)
This is a typical 3m x 5m paving (totalling 15m2) area and this is for the supply and fit.

Before we take a look at the quote itself, I Feel It's important to outline our meticulous flag/tile installation process. We first install a layer of approx 100mm thick MOT Type 1 Sub Base, this gives the stones a solid base to adhere to, once this has been compacted down (in 2 stages of approx 50mm per stage) we then start to install the stones. Whether it's concrete flags or high end porcelain tiles our consistent practice involves applying a coating of primer adhesive to back of each flag or tile to ensure maximum adhesion, which will ensure the flags or tiles do not "pop" when water and ultimately frost gets underneath them.

The quote would be broken down into these areas

How many labour days we need to complete the work
Materials needed to complete the work
So for this example we will require

10 Labour Days.
4 Tonnes of MOT Type 1 Sub Base.
4 Tonnes of Sharp Sand.
30 Bags Cement (preferred is Multicem).
Priming Slurry
Skip for waste removal
1 Pack of Indian Sandstone Paving in the customers colour choice.
Either Sand or Brush In Resin for the pointing, again this the customers choice
This would all add up to a combined cost of £4750
Prices are relevant as of the 22nd November 2023
